Aura AG 65

The ground-breaking new Aura AG is equipped with our unique suspended AG AntiGravity™ backsystem which incorporates the world's first fully ventilated hipbelt. Whether you're exploring hot climates or trekking through tundra, the seamless mesh and 3D cavity backpanel equals unrivalled ventilation and comfort whilst providing excellent load carrying performance. Fill the Aura AG to the max and it'll feel practically weightless on your back.

Thanks to the ExoForm™ Biostretch™ harness, load lifter bar and the Fit-on-the-Fly™ hipbelt. InsideOut™ compression provides impressive load support, reducing fatigue so you can push your adventures harder and longer.

Need easy access to your gear? The twin zippered front pockets, base zip and top-lid entry points mean that no matter what you're faced with, you can easily grab your kit. Our Osprey Stow-on-the-Go™ trekking pole attachment allows you to either stow or access your poles without removing your pack.

A large sleeping bag base compartment with internal divider allows you to store your gear separately when required.

When the weather turns for the worst deploy the integrated & detachable raincover contained within the lid.

If you're looking to cut weight to the last gram then the FlapJacket™ means you can remove the lid and still keep your gear protected from the elements. All of these features are housed in a design that's specifically tailored to women's fit.

Good comfortable bag. Almost everything is perfect.
But I am very disappointed with the color selection.
Why is it only men who can get bags in cool colors.
The girls' colors are seriously ugly.
Osprey Customer Service,

Hello,

We appreciate your review and are glad that you enjoy our product. We do research into the colours chosen based on customer opinions and current fashion trends at the time of the release of the pack. As time progresses, things go out of fashion and people's opinions change. We do our best to update the packs to stay with the current trends but we put a lot of time into the development of our packs. However, we appreciate your feedback and it will be passed on.

I've been using this rucksack for about a year and a half now, for long, multi week backpacking trips, the longest being just over three weeks. It's the perfect size - I can carry the stuff I need, including enough food for about a week at a time. I've never at any point found I needed more space.

The pockets on the front are great - they are deceptively large! I also like the bottom access point - makes getting the sleeping bag out so much easier, and means I don't have to unpack the entire bag to so! Similarly to the front pockets, the main pocket on the lid will carry a ridiculous amount of stuff! I also like that it can be removed, to shrink the pack down for shorter trips.

In terms of comfort, I would give it 5 stars! The way the hip band and shoulder straps hug the body just make it a joy to wear, and I the ventilation down the back is brilliant. However. I found myself having trouble with the fit on the fly velcro of the hip band. I need the hip band at its smallest setting, to be able to pull it in tight enough for the weight of the backpack to be kept on my hips not my shoulders. Unfortunately the velcro tended to slip, especially when wet and under strain. This meant I wasn't always able to get the hip band tight enough, resulting in one rather painful hike where I was stuck out in the middle of nowhere, with my rucksack pulling at my shoulders for the entire trip!

BUT! I spoke to Osprey about this, and they were amazing beyond belief! They've since sent out a hip band buckle replacement, which changes where the stress is on the hip band when tightening it, meaning I no longer pull on the velcro. Consequentially, I can now get the hip band tight enough again. Making this rucksack pretty near perfect my needs! And I was so so so so impressed by Osprey's customer service, they were incredibly quick to respond and come up with a solution to my problem!

That's not to say there aren't still a few issues I have with this rucksack. I find there are some surplus bits on it - like the divider you can use to split the main compartment. Why do rucksacks always have this? It just makes use of the space within the main compartment so much less efficient! I ended up cutting it out, because I never used it, and it just got in the way. The bag panel with the straps attached, in order to make it adjustable, can sometimes wiggle out of place a bit. Not a huge issue, I just couldn't work out why it wasn't fitting properly and it turned out one of the sliders had moved out of place. Only took a second to fix though! I also would have appreciated some sort of side access into the rucksack, but maybe now I'm just being picky!

So overall, I'm very happy with this rucksack. It wears very well (it has been rather abused in its short lifetime, yet it is still holding up strong), the build quality is excellent. And when I did have a problem, the customer service was second to none! Which when spending this much on a rucksack, does matter to me! Its comfortable, practical, and I look forward to many more adventures with it! When (or if!) it does finally wear out, I'll definitely be coming back to Osprey!

Mantiene tutte le promesse, ottima qualità, tante tasche.
Brigitte
Réglages au millimètres et faciles à faire.
Excellent maintien. Même chargé j'ai l'impression que le sac reste léger!
Il ne me manque qu'une pochette pour gsm sur la bretelle.

I outgrew my old pod sac bag and was looking to replace it for another 10 years with something that can handle winter gear and months long treks. This bag has blown my mind. Super versatile, roomy but compresses well. Really carefully thought out features and the whole bag system/fit adjustments are revolutionary. When loaded for 2 weeks worth of food and kit for the back country, it feels stable and actually comfortable....looking forward to seeing how durable it is, but I have high hopes!
