Rainproof but issues in windThe waterproofing is good overall though the top of the bag seems to get a bit damp in heavy rain after 30 mins or so. In windy weather it can get caught by the wind. I had to hold onto it because I was concerned it would blow away up on the hills

Splendid size and weightThe raincover is packed really small and is very light. Fits well my backpack. Now I'm just waiting for a rainy day :)

High viz not so brightExcellent except for the fact that the 'high viz' colour is not as high viz as it might be. For example, my high viz cycle shirt is considerably brighter and more visible at a distance - somewhat disappointed.

Design oversight?Compact cover unused as yet but no doubt it is of the same quality as the sack it was bought to cover. Only disappointment is that it was not built in to the base of the sack in the first place.

Does the job perfectlyHaving used many (very many!) rucksacks over the last 55+ years from Welsh hills to Alpine climbing I have yet to find one that keeps any rain out, not even my beloved Talon 22, so I purchased this rain cover and hoped for the best, it certainly does the job very well, kept a very wet and windy downpour out of my bag recently, I would still wrap my valuables, phone, head torch, wallet etc in plastic seal able bags but this rain cover does the rest, fits well and is also well made as you would expect from Osprey, it's very light packs into its own little pouch and hardly noticeable in your bag when not in use, I opted for the Hi Viz one for the only reason it was cheaper!

Waterproof raincoverDoes exactly as stated and keeps the water out of my rucksack. Fits my Talon 33 superbly.

Bon produit mais un peu cherComme indiqué le prix est un peu cher. J'ai utilisé cette toile une fois et elle protège bien et tient bien. Elle taille grand car avec un osprey nebula de 34 litres le raincover est encore bien grand et il reste largement de la place. Petite poche pratique cousue à la toile pour rangement rapide.
