Prepare to go even faster and further with our Raptor hydration backpacks. The Raptor 14 ensures that you can carry all the required gear and liquid to perform your personal best. Keep hydrated on the toughest of rides with easy access to the reservoir via an asymmetric zip for quick and easy refills. The hose can be routed over either shoulder, and the bite valve is held in place by a sternum-strap magnet.

Heading on a long, hot ride? No sweat! The AirScape™ ventilated foam backpanel and harness keep you cool whilst still offering flexibility for movement without restriction. The BioStretch™ harness and hipbelt also offer high levels of ventilation, whilst the performance-fit shaping keeps the pack from moving off the shoulders during the most technical of descents. The sternum strap can be attached and detached with one hand, thanks to the innovative magnetic buckle closure system.

Our unique LidLock™ attachment provides a quick and secure attachment point for your helmet, so it remains safe and scratch-free without taking up space inside your pack. All your gear is easily organised and carried within the quick access internal compartments. The base of the pack contains our rapid access ToolWrap™, which stores all your vital bike tools in one divided pocket, keeping dirty or oily gear separated from the contents of your pack. The front compression pocket stores more gear securely and the stretch pocket complete with drainage hole, provides an ideal space for bulky additional items or can be used to stash wet items on the go. The front compression straps can be used to hold a full-face helmet or body armour too. Reflective graphics and LED light attachment help to keep you visible for when the weather turns or night falls.

    In one word: perfect
I am 183 cm tall and to me it has the right fit. Not too big, not too small, plenty of pockets for everything. I bought the 14 litres. Very resistant and comfortable too. I store everything: tools, jacket, tyres, glasses, wallet, smartphone, keys and the 2,5 litres bag is extraordinary. Hose is not too short. Do not listen to these people here complaining for nothing.

Good pack, but the hose is too short.
This is a great pack and I'm really enjoying using it. There is a shallow compartment in the top that is easy to put keys, wallet, phone, face mask ! and other bits and bobs to keep them in easy reach, and a nice deep compartment for larger gear like pump, tubes, and food. On the waist strap there are pockets where you can put snack bars and that makes for easy reach on the trail. There's a nice area underneath where you can store tools which is very well thought out. Two exterior compartments also very useful for stuffing with your top when you get too warm or other easy grab stuff. I would give 5* however the water tube is just too short, and other reviews confirm this. I'm a skinny guy and it just about goes across my chest, and with it short it often pops off the mag clip especially if I'm bumping on a downhill and that's just hassle to have it swinging around before I can get somewhere to clip it back on. Also, there is no quick release for the tube where it's connected to the water reservoir bag, which for the money seems cheap. Otherwise a really super pack

Almost perfect, but could be better
Firstly, I really like design of this backpack. It is nice and it has a lot of practical pockets for storage of different items and you have good access to them. I love external stretching pockets and zipped reservoir pocket - very fast system. I am using backpack also for hiking due to optimal size. It is more/less worth of title "Premium", but there is room for improvements:
    - two internal pockets in main room are too deep an narrow, it is very limiting - you can put there pump or narrow long bar, nothing more.
    - pockets on hips strap should be ventilated also from outside, if I put there some stuff and close zip, then ventilation is not so good like if I keep it open when there are empty
    - as was already mentioned, hose is a little bit short (make it longer in future please - it is easier and cheaper to cut hose than replace for longer)
    - for those money I expected quick connect on reservoir hose as standard
    - magnetic connection of hose is good, but not hold 100%
    - I missing integrated raincoat - a lot of MTB bikers using it often because of mud at trails
    - maybe it is because of my figure, but for me is shape of shoulder straps uncomfortable. It looks cool, but it is hard to find ideal position on back because of S shape: when I am upright, than it standing on my shoulders like wings and I looks like a figure from a Star-wars.
    - I have 186 cm and it is bit small size for me - I think backpack is ideal for smaller persons (due to mentioned shoulder straps shape I cannot set it lower)

    Hose length
Just purchased my Raptor 14 today and quite pleased with it so far...only issue is the water hose length seems a little short as I have quite a broad chest. If I breathe deeply as no doubt i will when out on the bike the hose comes detatched from its magnetic holder on the strap.... is the a longer hose that can be purchased?... a couple of inches longer would be perfect

    Maybe too short?
There is only one size of the current Raptor 14 and I'm 1,82 m tall. The backpack feels a little too short for me as the hip belt rides up but I'm also really scrawny. I feel like there should be information for the sizing. Anyone else having issues as tall as me?

    Possibly the best MTB pack
Proud owner of what must be arguably the best MTB pack available. With the popularity of Enduro and other more extreme MTB activities please add the following two updates to the pack (1) bag designed to accept back protector supplied as standard or as an optional item (2) ability to hold full face helmet when pack full.

    Almost perfect
I've had the Raptor 14 for a while now and have been really happy with it - another good quality product from Osprey. The only two criticisms/suggestions for improvement I have are:
    - I had to purchase separately the Quick Connect Kit which, although inexpensive, I believe it should come as standard given the cost of the pack
    - The first Quick Connect Kit I bought bent and cracked as I tried to fit it in the hose, so I had to purchase another one.

    Hope it helps

    Regards

    Gaetano

    Happy with the purchase
I use raptor 14 for long distance rollerblading / urban skating. I am not a demanding customer, neither very picky. Never had any similar product before, can't compare.

+ Backpack stays in place all the time, even while performing tricks.
+ Bladder fits well, stays in place, enables 100% or very close to it while skate stunting.
+ Magnet very convenient, stays in place at all times - as above.
+ Good bite valve - holds even if CO2 filled drinks are in bladder, at high pressure after shaking.
+ Big enough to fit in all you need for a nice few-hours activity
    + Presentable
    + Comfortable

    - Side pockets slightly too far back. Not really an issue though for me.
    - Water pipe discoloured fairly quickly. Again, I couldn't care less.
    - Price could be a bit lower.

Overall very happy with the purchase, highly recommended.

    Superb and well designed product
I recently went on a cycling holiday to Morocco and in preparation, I bought myself an Osprey Raptor 14 rucksack. This is the first Osprey product I have ever bought, and I have been nothing but impressed by its quality and functionality. It is by far the best rucksack I have got and suited the task perfectly!

My highlights include: the magnetic hose clip (genius), the helmet clip, the fact that even with a full water bladder the bag still had plenty of room, the myriad of pockets (which I just kept on finding, and lastly the comfort/fit!

It really is a superb and well designed product and any future rucksack purchases, I will definitely be buying Osprey! Keep up the great work!
