A large sleeping bag base compartment with internal divider allows you to store your gear separately when required.
When the weather turns for the worst deploy the integrated & detachable raincover contained within the lid. If you're looking to cut weight to the last gram then the FlapJacket™ means you can remove the lid and still keep your gear protected from the elements.

Frequently Asked Questions
Atmos AG65 - on the shoulder pads you have two loops, the top one in the picture secures the webbing straps. Are these loops substantial enough to attach a large bum bag with two water bottle pouches across the chest?
The loops that are on the harness of the Atmos are there for securing a reservoir hose, preventing it from moving about too much. These have not been reenforced for weight carrying capabilities. I would not recommend that these are used for carrying water.
Hello, what's the size of the backpack without the upper lid?
Hi Alexandre,
The lids of our packs are about 10 litres and are about 10-20 cm of the total length of the pack.
I have used this for several years now week long backpacking in the U.K. I have found the back system fantastically comfortable, until you hit 21kgs, then the back support system trends to sag slightly, but even then it's ok, I start to feel the weight. You just don't feel the weight of the pack below 21kg, it's like it's not there, I feel light on my feet, agile, comfortable. The pockets are great, love the design, it works for me. The hip belt pockets are slightly awkward if fully opened, but if 3/4 opened, they are fine - 1 handed operation.
It carries everything I need fully unsupported for 7 days long distance walking, all equipment and food with no probs, just fantastic.
I already have the Xenith 88 (92L) same design but bigger - different back system and I'm looking to get the Atmos AG 50 for pure comfort for long weekends away in the wild, as my old Kestral 38L is getting rather worn out and a bit small.

Helpful
Made a mistake in the address, but fantastic customer service team sorted it even though the ruck sack was already on its way. Seems well made and has been used daily since it arrived.

Loose hipstrap
The hip strap on the 65 kept loosening, especially the weak Velcro on the fir on the fly system. Great backpack but this huge downfall lead to me being forced to ditch the pack

Fantastic
I made my last hiking trip in 1992 after 15 straight years in the area of Kebnekaise and went back this year 2019 with new equipment. Something has really changed during these years of missing the adventure. I will be back next year for another straight 15 years with a fantastic Back Pack.

Greatest Backpack
I have just finished the "Camino de Santiago" with Atmos 65. I must confess that in the beggining I had some troubles fine tunning the back pack to adapt it to my back, but it was due to so much possibilities to do it. After I took a while to do it properly, I must say it is not the world's best companion, because of the fact that you think it is not there….:))) The best backpack I have ever worn, with some clever details, reliable, ultra comfortable, a piece of gear that you won't remember that you are even wearing! Just great!

Brilliant Pack for Heavy Loads
I've had my AG65 for a couple of years now and it's the most comfortable pack that I've ever worn. I'm training for the West Highland Way currently and I'm wearing it a lot at the moment. The hip belt is excellent and seems to take the weight relieving stress on your shoulders. There really is nothing that I don't like about this pack I cannot recommend it highly enough, yes it's quite expensive but in my experience you get what you pay for and it's worth every penny. If you are comfortable when walking long distances it makes the journey a lot easier, there is nothing worse than discomfort day after day. This pack is comfortable very comfortable, get one you won't be disappointed.

Decent pack but with some issues
I've used my pack for half a dozen trips and it's served me well if you ignore some of the issues it has which have been covered in previous reviews. The main thing for me is now the pack has developed an annoying squeaky sound every step you take. It's as though it doesn't like to be loaded but when you take the pack off and press anywhere on the back or hip belt you get the same noise. Anyone walking with you has to put up with this loud noise. I feel it must be components of the anti gravity system. I would normally load my pack with 20 kg's so it's within tolerances. Looking at tOspreys guarantee I doubt wether they will cover this issue which leaves me now with a redundant pack which i'm unable to use. Shame.

zaino straordinario!
I used it for the first time on a four days, three nights trekking across the sea, mountains and woods of the Wild Blue in Sardegna (my country). The anti gravity fits perfect to the body and very stable although weighing 19 kg included food and water. I slept jumping on a wet rock while wadeing a deep creek and I didn't fall down thanks to the perfect adherence making me able to control the momentum. Every moment you can feel that it is a globally well studied project also when loading and unloading the stuff inside. I am satisfyed of my purchase.
