The ground-breaking Atmos AG is equipped with our unique suspended AG AntiGravity™ backsystem which incorporates the world's first fully ventilated hipbelt. Whether you're exploring hot climates or trekking through tundra, the seamless mesh and 3D cavity backpanel equals unrivalled ventilation and comfort whilst providing excellent load carrying performance.

Fill the Atmos AG to the max and it'll feel practically weightless on your back, thanks to the ExoForm™ Biostretch™ harness, load lifter bar and the Fit-on-the-Fly™ hipbelt. InsideOut™ compression provides impressive load support, reducing fatigue so you can push your adventures harder and longer.

Need easy access to your gear? The twin zippered front pockets, base zip and top-lid entry points mean that no matter what you're faced with, you can easily grab your kit. Our Osprey Stow-on-the-Go™ trekking pole attachment allows you to either stow or access your poles without removing your pack. A large sleeping bag base compartment with internal divider allows you to store your gear separately when required.

When the weather turns for the worst deploy the integrated & detachable raincover contained within the lid. If you're looking to cut weight to the last gram then the FlapJacket™ means you can remove the lid and still keep your gear protected from the elements.

    Comfort with a capital C
I've had my Atmos 50 for about four years now and it is without doubt the most comfortable and durable back pack I have ever had. The AG system and well padded shoulder straps do a great job of spreading the load and minimising hot spots. I've done a couple of three week treks in the Himalayas with this pack and it has served me well and not left me sore form carrying the load day after day over heavy terrain. The price you pay for that comfort and padding is the fact the Atmos is a little on the heavy side. The major negative, for me, is how much the AG system creaks and squeaks with normal body movement. Friends have even commented on how irritating it is to them. I don't know what the solution is, the pack has done it since new and it has not gone away with bedding in and use. I find the zips on the hip belt pockets far too fiddly and difficult to use on the move. The top lid is removable if you want to simplify and lighten the Atmos a bit, I have only done this once and not done so again because apart from the fiddly hip pockets, the lid provides the only small and convenient to access pockets/compartments on the Atmos

    Fantastic pack
This is a great pack for those long days on the trail if you are carrying food water tent and a change of clothes for thru hikes. It's very durable and extremely comfortable, and distributes the weight really well. Loads of different features which one the front pockets on the hip belts are difficult to close when I go in them for my snacks. The pack can easily handle 15kg without feeling too heavy on your back. The only downside is the weight of the pack itself at just over 2kg it's on the tad side heavy for your base weight before you start adding, with the extra features and durability I can live with that. But all in all a fantastic pack for trails and long distance hikes

Great pack but with a few niggles
This is a great pack. Comfy, roomy, perfect for a long trek. The only niggles I found were that the hip pockets were set too far back which made them difficult/impossible to open/close the zips when wearing it. I also found that the 'buckle' across the chest strap created a pressure point when the strap was done up securely. A little bit of padding would be nice!

Having had the Poco child carrier, it would be good to include 2 of the features that had; a small secure waterproof top pocket and the additional zipped pocket on the shoulder strap - which was absolutely brilliant!
