Providing maximum levels of stability and ease of use, the Hydraulics™ reservoir is essential for keeping hydrated on your outdoor adventures. The unique combination of the pour shield and Slide-Seal™ top-opening allows you to easily fill and empty the reservoir, whilst enabling complete access for cleaning after use. Our unique Osprey Hydraulics™ anatomically shaped back plate provides stability and creates a flat profile to ensure the reservoir easily slides in and out of your pack. The bite valve is magnetic enabling easy stow and access to water on the go. When not in use the bite valve also incorporates an easy on/off twist lock system. Built from strong yet light TPU material, which is designed to withstand either freezing or hot water. The QuickConnect™ system allows you to remove the reservoir for easier loading, replacement and cleaning.

Yes, it would be suitable for the Escapist 25. However, due to the welded chevron on the LT reservoirs, these make them better for more active activities such as Biking.

Easy to use reservoir with slight taste problemsThis is one of the easiest reservoirs I've tried. It is easy to keep the inlet open while filling the reservoir with water. The clamp to close the inlet slides easily and closes the reservoir tightly. The hose connectors and the mouth piece work well. Water is easy to suck. Cleaning is easy thanks to the wide inlet. Just remember to buy a cleaning kit as well. The water in the reservoir gets some plastic taste. If you have to use water containing humus, the taste of humus will stick to the reservoir and tends to be carried to the following lots of water.

So easy to useI used to have several bottles with water that I had to dig out of pockets or even from my backpack - but now thanks to this sweet hydration system hidden away in my backpack and with the use of a single hose, I can drink on the go whenever I want. And it works flawlessly and fits perfectly in my EXOS 58 backpack as one only can dream of....

Perfect productFantastic reservoir, looks extremely well made, slight plastic taste disappeared after second use, I suggest to buy separately the valve cover to ensure it will stay clean. I find the possibility of detaching the hose a brilliant idea, the only thing I would say is to have a small hook on the bottom so it can be hanged upside down to dry it out completely. I am very happy with this prodcut and will recommend it strongly for any outdoor activity!

ReservoirUsed for the first time and like other comments it does have a slight plastic taste but I am sure it will wear off in time.
I found that if the water is really cold when it goes in it keeps cold for quite a long time and helps to keep the plastic taste away.

Good quality product with great featuresI only used a few times so far, so its durability is something that still has to prove itself.
The magnetic clip is a great quality of life upgrade. The mouthpiece no longer swings around but still is readily available, great feature.
Relatively easy to dry after use. The quick release of the tube makes refilling and cleaning easy by not having to mess with undoing the tube from your backpack.
