For where wheels won't go. The Fairview 70 is our lightest travel backpack yet.

Featuring a zip-away spacer mesh ventilated backpanel, the Fairview can be carried like a backpack but packed like a suitcase.

Fairview’s backsystem offers an impressive women's specific fit, with an ergonomically shaped hipbelt, harness, yoke and backpanel. The strong and durable backsystem means you can carry your gear comfortably when travelling between hotels, the airport or beyond.

Cushioned carry handles on the top and the sides allow you to easily grab the travel pack off airport baggage carousels. Your gear is readily to hand, with the inclusion of a large zippered lockable opening that allows access to the main compartment. The compression straps are also used to attach and secure a 13L 'zip and clip' daypack, which includes all the organisation you'll ever need; a top stash pocket for electronics and sunglasses, dual side pockets and a laptop sleeve. The daypack can also clip onto the harness of the main pack, in a 'kangaroo' style attachment. This provides a very secure way to carry your daypack when you want to keep your valuables or tickets to hand. Inside the main cargo bag is a mesh pocket ideal to separate dirty clothes and shoes. Internal compression straps fully maximise the capacity whilst securing your gear. For overnight trips attach a sleeping pad to the lower external straps.

    Excellent purchase
Bought this bag for a 2 month trip around south east Asia. Couldn’t really ask for more. Currently halfway through the trip and so far so good. There’s space for everything you need and the day bag is really useful to take on day trips. Very pleased.

    Great backpack
Currently traveling Asia with this backpack, and I do not regret buying it. It’s very convenient to use, as it opens up on the front instead of at the top of the bag. Also, loving the small bagpack that goes with it and can be attached in the front, super convenient! I have already recommended it to other traveling friends!!

Used for a month backpacking trip, loved it
This was a great choise for a trip on summer 2018 and found daybackpack very usefull. Usually clicked it in front of me to have easy acces to my valuables, tickets, tablet etc. and it kept me well in balance instead of pulling me too much toward when walking. Daypack was also very good to have on daytours and didn’t need other handbags to carry. Very much space for everything needed, ability to open big bag completely was great also.

Hello! I really want to buy this backpack, but I couldn't find the size of the bag, I am 1.75m tall, does the bag is large enough ? Does it have adjustable straps ? Thanks!!

    Love The dayback!
I have been travelling and studying for 7 months with this backpack in South East Asia and I absolutely love this backpack. Especially the attached daypack is amazing!

I choose the bag first of all for the suitcase style opening. In the first month I had too much small things in there, and so really missing some small pockets in the 55 liter bag. After buying another packing cube for the miscellaneous stuff, this problem was solved. With 4 packing cubes, a toiletry bag, some shoes and a tripod, I was literally packed within a minute!

Secondly I bought this back due to the click system that allowed you to attach the small daypack on the front. This system gives you a lot of freedom when you have to walk with both bags, as your arms are still “free”. It also gives a feeling of security at the same time as you can reach your passport and camera within a second without putting your bag in the ground.

But most of all I am in love with the small 15 liter daypack. My boyfriend had his own daypack (nortface borrealis) with him but after feeling how lightweight the osprey was he never used it! For day trips we just packed the osprey. I could also easily pack it for 3 days of travelling, in case we wanted to leave the bigger bags behind. After the first month travelling I used the daypack for 4 months of studying, carrying daily a laptop and books and sometimes even a laptop, camera and a tripod. I love how lightweight the backpack stayed! I hope they will launch these 15 l daypacks as a separate line because I will definitely buy an extra one!

Disappointed with zip on day pack
The main backpack served me extremely well during my 6 month trip around South America however I was very disappointed with the zip on day pack feature. After using this twice, the bottom of the zip started to fray and I was unable to attach it to the main bag again. This lead to issues with excess hand baggage on flights and coaches. I met many people using the same bag who had no experienced this issue which leads me to believe mine was faulty. Would not recommend.

    The best
This backpack was the best choice I could make. it made my 6 months trip so much easier... No top loading hassle and great quality!
Moving around for 6 months, from place to place, it's so easy to access everything inside it, really just like having a normal suitcase, but better because you can throw it on your shoulders and roam free! You can fit so much stuff inside it, in fact I was able to carry a helmet inside it for a few month too!
Only trouble I got was a few holes in the back "net", but it was probably my bad for throwing it in the back of a bus forgetting to close the back flap.. apart from that, all wonderful! The way to go for a long backpacking trip! Can't wait to get going again to keep using it!

    SriLanka
Top Luggage, We made a 2 week trip in Sri Lanka and it was just perfect for everything, we also met a few other people using Osprey (both Male and Female models) and I can surely say it is a very good choice. Fortunately it didn't rain while we were walking so we didn't use the rain cover but i assume it is good as the luggage. Regards
