A bid disappointing
Packs small and very light. just about the right size for a day out in the city if you are backpacking around Europe. The straps start to dig in when you put more than 2kg inside. ( like water, lunch, camera and some warm clothes) The main issue is that after a week of use the bottom has a few holes in it. was expecting a longer life considering quechua have similar packs for 3 euro not 30!

The shadow grey is actually green
I'm sure the stuff pack is good, I didn't use it yet, but the color is not grey or black as on the pictures, it's actually green! And yes, it is a problem for me, because everything I have is black and I like it that way! I'm not happy with the color, beware! Ok, it's only a second bag, but I hope it won't be the same with the Farpoint 40 volcanic grey backpack, which is already on the way, because that would be a huge problem!
Osprey Customer Service,

Hi Attila,

Thanks for taking the time to write your review.

We try to make all images on our website as accurate as possible to what they look like to the human eye, however, it is not always easy to do so.

Images are taken of the packs based on the presale samples that we are given to photograph. Sometimes the colour of the presale samples are slightly different than final production packs. We do our best to correct these if noticeable differences occur. We also have to consider that not all monitors or devices are calibrated correctly and that not everyone has a keen eye for colour differences when purchasing online. However, we appreciate your feedback and we will get this looked into.

If you wish to speak to us directly about your pack, please feel free to email us at care@ospreyeurope.com.

A Satisfied Military Customer!
A pack with unrealised military potential!
I recently bought one of these for use in a Military Capacity.
For years, the concept has been to top flap a daysack under the lid of a larger bergan for equipment you may require quickly to patrol with, but with this because of its packsize I can essentially use it as a waterproof outer for the kit I require in a hurry and pack it into the main compartment. Still just as quick to access but without the bulk, keeping my bergan nice & compact and streamlined!

The only improvements i'd make to this to make it appeal further to the military community would be to slightly increase capacity (25l maybe?) reinforce the connection points, add another elasticated pocket on the side and produce it in multicam, or other tactical color. At this price these would sell like hot cakes!

An excellent pack, good work Osprey!

Nice quality, but with a downside
Really nice quality. Usually with this kind of material, I would be afraid to rip it, but definitely not with this one. Furthermore, it is very well thought out, and even gives you an extra small compartment.

However, I'm a bit sad that the shoulder straps aren't longer. I'm a quite big guy at 194cm (6.36 ft), and it kinda feels like the bag is sitting a bit high on my back, even with the straps at their longest. I've tried other stuff packs of the same type, which was much more comfortable for me to wear, because the straps were longer.

Overall, this is a great buy if you aren't as tall as me.
