  3. I am really pleased
I was pleased with my previous Osprey rucksack but this one is even better. The side pockets are more robust and so much better than the previous ones. It is true that they are not big enough for a mobile phone but my GPS fits in perfectly. It is possible to adjust the straps so that the bag sits on the hips and the weight is easy to carry. I do struggle to get the tube from the water reservoir in and out and have to take it apart to put it in and take out. The rucksack holds everything I need for a full day out on the fells so I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new rucksack

  4. overall very pleased with this backpack
I've been travelling with this back pack and have not had the neck and back pain that I usually have when carrying a pack. The frame and the adjustable straps really make the weight disappear. Because of the frame the large pocket is narrow, I'd love it to be slightly larger. The front pocket is pretty small, I wish the pack had elastic cords across to be able hang a bigger jacket than what could fit in that front pocket. But the comfort of this pack makes up for everything.

  5. Superb backpack
I am very pleased with the Sirrus 24 I recently purchased. I have had cheaper backpacks in the past and regret not buying an Osprey earlier.
I like the adjustment you can make to the back panel and the numerous pockets.
It was very comfortable on a recent trip up to the Lake District here in the UK.
The only slight negative point is that if you have anything in the top pocket it makes it difficult to get the water reservoir in, but that was not too much of an issue to empty the pocket beforehand.
I had no problems with chaffing simply because you can adjust the straps easily to suit what ever you are wearing.
People have commented on the fact that the waist pockets are too small for a mobile phone, maybe they are but I carry mine in the large pocket on my trousers.
    I would reccommend this backpack.

  6. I love this bag
I spent a while checking out a selection of different osprey packs and this is my favourite by far. It has as a small top pocket which fits keys, phone, blister plasters, etc which is great. The frame is really comfortable and short which is why I didn’t opt for the 26. There are 2 positions for poles. I tend to use the side one with poles full length when they’re in and out a lot and I’m only a slight pole menace and the back pole position when I’m confident I won’t need them for a while. The pockets on the straps are good for small readily accessible things. The only slight drawback is the frame which is why it’s so comfortable. But it does reduce the ability to pack as much as the volume would suggest. Overall it’s a brilliant bag.

  8. Unsure...
I have just bought this daypack, but am unsure as to wether I should return it. It does appaer to be both solid and versatile, and does show potential. But the grey mesh on the inside is really not comfortable against your skin, and it chafes - especially at the neck-area and the side of the straps. And as I have bought it for use in summertime, thats quite a let down. If you have no such plans, or plan to be covered/dressed acordingly - it would be worth the buy.

  10. Brilliant day pack
Very comfortable, and perfect size of a day pack. I use it both for day hikes, as a carry on on flights, as well as a city bag for my laptop etc. The fabric isn't very waterproof, but it does come with a good built in rain cover. Only negative is that the mesh style back system is angled to allow airflow between your back - absolutely brilliant feature in itself, but the angle is sometime a bit irritating when packing it and makes the packing size slightly smaller than what the backpack looks like. I would also have liked a smaller zipped up pocket on the inside for valuables.
