Shuttle 130

"Let the good times roll", that's what we say. Tough, durable and adaptable, the Shuttle 130 swallows and transports all of your gear across the globe with ease. The foundation relies on our unique injection moulded HighRoad™ chassis, consisting of an ABS polymer for durability and using polyurethane wheels that eat tarmac for breakfast. The retractable ErgoGrip™ handle ensures that you can roll with complete ease and control over your gear. Inside the travel bag you will discover a multitude of organisation options; including a liquid/accessory pocket and dual mesh pockets to separate dirty clothes and shoes. For the ultimate in gear protection, the Shuttle spreads its foam StraightJacket™ side-wings around the bag to compress and protect your belongings. These wings cleverly wrap from one side of the travel pack to the other when you're hauling less gear than usual. The internal compression straps allow you to fully maximise capacity whilst securing your clothes and limiting creases. Also featuring an ingenious base compartment that not only has its own zip access, but also features a flexible divider, allowing you to increase space for dirty laundry as you progress through your holiday. For extra security, the Shuttle travel pack features a lockable zip on the main compartment. Time to spread your wings and load up the Shuttle as your next adventure is waiting.

problem when having to walk stairs
This is my third Osprey purchase, after two previous backpacks. I love the quality of the bag itself and I'm sure it will give me pleasure for many years to come. However, travelling in places where you have to lift the bags on/off several flights of stairs is a problem. The height of the bag when vertical, makes pulling it up with one arm (or walking backwards with 2 arms) a painful task. Normally I would carry 25kg's on my back.
The number one feature that I'm missing from this bag, is some kind of (padded) shoulder strap, to help lift it.
I've tried to come up with a solution in a local outdoor store with straps and hooks, but to no avail. It would be awesome is a seperate shoulderstrap would be up for sale, so that the bag can be carried horizontally over the shoulder.

The second feature (also not available for purchase) is some kind of rain cover. I've experimented with a regular raincover and elastic bands, but it has been a problematic going. Trying to keep the clean and dry, whilst travelling in tropical lesser developed countries, was impossible. Everytime I had to lift my heavy/dirty bags, I myself became dirty as well.
