AdventureProof on wheels. By taking everything that we’ve learned about duffel bags and combining it with our expertise in rolling luggage, Osprey has created a travel pack which is truly AdventureProof, and this time it’s wheeled.
Rolling Transporter is an ultra-durable, high performance duffel with all-terrain wheels, designed to go where other packs can’t. Featuring Osprey’s HighRoad™ chassis, this pack can cope with rough terrain due to its ABS polymer materials and extra-large polyurethane wheels which promise a smooth ride. The retractable ErgoGrip™ handle ensures that you can roll with complete ease and retain easy control over your gear. To make your journey even easier, Rolling Transporter 40 fits on most European and Worldwide airlines as carry-on baggage.
The body of the pack is made from very tough TPU laminated nylon, which provides exceptional durability while remaining light and soft to the touch. The construction patterns and materials of Rolling Transporter have been chosen to provide a high level of weather resistance and the ability to withstand a lot of punishment. The barrel shaped design makes the best use of available space and enables easy loading, whatever your chosen method of transport.
Inside the pack, mesh pockets provide easy organisation of essential gear, whilst a large, easy access pocket on the top provides the perfect place to keep your Document Zip Wallet, keeping your passport and tickets together. The main pouch opens to the side, allowing Rolling Transporter to be packed like a suitcase, yet the multiple grab handles and lashing points let you throw these packs around like a typical duffel. An ID Card slot on the top lets you identify your pack in a hurry on the baggage carousel.

Go To Bag Everytime
Used this bag for 2 week safari in Kenya last October. And for tamer European city trips. It was thrown on and off trucks, trains, planes and automobiles. It measured up not only to dusty terrain and tent living but then looked the business when occasionally checking in to hotels. A dream to roll through airports. Even the safari leader had his eye on this and was impressed how I had packed "light" Me pack light! Cube packed and managed fine. Looking for a cabin addition to work with this because do not want to go back to big suitcases again. Any suggestions? Maybe the Global Transport Carry On?

resistant and light
Bought it for a friend, he is using it during his trip right now. From what I’ve heard, he’s loving it! It is really resistant so that his technical stuff is always protected, but it also is very light so if or so loaded it is easy to transport. Well organised for multiple pockets and zips.

I have only just bought the transporter, its been fine so far, however, the real test will be long term and so ask me in about a years time. The bag is good, however, I don't like logos and branding, I feel as if they could be restricted. No complaints, just less branding on the products please. Osprey is good, I have in total three of their products I was in Mumbai and Kochi in India and I walked around Colaba for 6 hours as I was too early to check into my accommodation, the pavement and roads were uneven, no problems for the wheels.

Très bon produit , mais un ouverture supplémentaire sur le cote pour accéder a des documents serait bienvenue, les plots de supports sont sensibles a l’abrasion

Yes it works as cabin baggage
I wanted a bag to fit as cabin baggage and for my only bag for a weekend visit . It has dimensions just a bit higher than cheaper take on bags and you can fit just that little extra like a pair of sandals. The side and top handles allow you to lift it easily up and down stairs and into the plane locker. The wheels are robust and the handle long enough for even tall guys like me. It's a bit stiff to put down but a wiggle helps it slide away. To be honest you don't need to put it away and can simply use the fabric handle to lift it down stairs and then wheel it using the longer metal handle. It has a small exterior stash pocket at the top for a phone and wallet and passport. Maybe a back zipped document pocket would be useful like on bigger Osprey bags. Take your own plastic bag to stash dirty socks in. The large zipped top is easy to get things out to use on the plane...book headphones sandwiches...as long as they are right at the top is what I learned.
