Pandion 28

Outstanding. Pandion is a top-of-the-range daypack designed for active everyday use. Featuring a suspended mesh ventilated backpanel, this pack will help to keep you cool on your commute or business travel.

Key features include an internal padded laptop sleeve which is suspended away from the bottom of the pack, preventing you damaging your computer when you put your pack down. Assisting with this, Pandion utilises an integrated kickstand which makes the pack stay upright by itself, so you don't have to prop it up when accessing your gear or reaching for your phone. This innovation also prevents the pack from tilting over and helps to protect its contents.

A front organisation pocket helps you keep your possessions where they belong, whilst a smaller scratch-free top pocket provides a great place to keep phones, sunglasses or other items which you need easy access to.

A stretch mesh pocket on the front provides an easy place to store gloves or a jacket, along with twin side pockets that are big enough for a water bottle.

When not in use, the kickstand flattens for ease of storage.

Comfy and well thought out.
Coming from a slightly larger and older (2013) 34L Osprey Quantum I really wanted to upgrade to something with an airmesh back, so it was this or the Radial.

In the end I chose this, as it seems to be slightly more suited for both walking in the hills and air travel, and I like my kit multi-functional.,

On the bike so far I'm well impressed. I thought my Quantum was good. So good I rode it for 5 straight years, used it almost every day.

This is much more comfortable, the organisation is slightly different, and more suited to a days worth of work bits + more.

Straps are great, classic Osprey so no surprises. The front stretch pocket has held my D-Lock no bother, it's reinforced at the bottom to accommodate this, the two side mesh pockets large enough for 750ml bottles.

The main bag easily takes work computer, clothes, lunch, bits, all organised and leaves a bit of room over if I need to pick up anything on the way home.

All in all, well impressed.

The kick stand I only notice when I put the bag down, so I guess it's doing it's job..

good but could have been that bit better
Good bag let down by the design of the kickstand.
It's not a bad idea per se, but it should by default be sprung open, thereby enabling your almost empty bag to stand up. If you wish to close it you can tighten the cinch straps.
Instead it is closed by default and gets forced open by filling the bag.
