  1. A perfect pack for fast-packing.
At 6’4” I bought the large version of this pack as one of my big three items in a move to an ultralight system for multi-day backpacking. I’ve had it out for a few 2-3 day trips to settle the system in and have so far found it performing exactly as expected. My base weight is 5.4kg (including the pack) and it comfortably carries this through to 9kg, the maximum I’ve been out with so far. Volume is good and accessible with both the inner and the top, I’m currently using the outer pockets for my tent, cooking kit and waterproofs with everything being held nicely secure when moving over steep ground. I even went climbing with this fully laden and although I wouldn't make it a habit as I’d be worried about the thinness of the material it proved to be a very stable platform in this environment. Which brings me to my only complaint which is that with such a performant and light sac I’m having to significantly adjust my route planning to allow for the fact that I’m now running many of the routes that I’ve previously only walked!
