    Very comfortable on multi-day hikes
I wore the size small on a 7-day hike through Norwegian mountains. I am 5'8", 56kg. The initial pack weight was ~15kg, which had dropped to ~12kg by the end.

    Pros:
    - While more padding at the hip belt would have been nice (it has a very hard "wire" thing which runs around the bottom, which once in a while can be felt) I was surprised at how little bruising this pack left on my hips . There was obviously some chafing and some faint colour, but nothing compared to the massive purple welts other packs have left me with.
    - Very comfortable to wear for multiple days.
    - Could fit all my gear inside.
    - Loved the "Stow on the go" trekking pole holders.
    - Liked the flap and the ability to detach the brain as I did not need that.
    - The cross-body hip-belt cincher straps are fantastic.
    - Good back ventilation.

    Cons:
    - The "Fit on the Fly" hip-belt adjusters were a lot of work to alter with the pack off, so I did not try to adjust when it was on as I feel it would have been a real fight.
    - The hip-belt is quite... assertive in the way it grips your waist, which is amazing once on, but makes actually getting the pack on in the the first place quite a trick.
    - All Osprey packs seem to have a similar irritating main compartment design, in that it is wide at the base compartment, narrow in the middle, and wide at the top. Since the material is not stretchy this makes shoving gear down the side of the pack quite difficult as it gets caught at the narrow point, and then there is lots of empty space at the top of the base. This makes the bag top-heavy which is annoying.
    - It is really determined to distribute weight evenly across the shoulders and waist. But I hate having any weight on my shoulders, and no matter how I adjusted the various fittings I could not make it stop putting weight on them. I have a small waist and I feel making the hip-belt be able to cinch even tighter (I felt mine was still a little loose even on the tightest setting) would have helped.

Overall: I know it seems like a lot of "cons" by I really did like this pack and would recommend it. I feel 15kg is too much for it to manage the weight well and as it got lighter towards the end it seemed to carry it better.

    Fantastic multiday pack
I really love this backpack. The way the weight is distributed takes some getting used to as it almost feels as if the bag is pulling you back a bit however, I did get used to this. It's a really comfortable bag for the most part. I found the hip belt pressed on the point of my hips (at the front) a bit. However, this may be due to the fact mine protrude a bit? It would be good if there was a bit of extra padding on the belt. The pockets are all well thought out, lots of nooks and crannies. Not the bag a minimalist would enjoy but I love having lots of pockets! Sometimes the two large ones on the front can be hard to zip up if the back is very full. My only real gripe with this pack is there are no walking pole tip grippers on it. I know you can 'stow on the go' but it would be nice if there were pole grippers for when you know you will not need to use the poles for quite a while. It would be nice to be able to pack them away without sacrificing one of the side pockets. All in all, a great bag and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a multiday pack.

    The perfect backpack
Pienamente soddisfatta!

English: I've always had backpacks from Osprey and I needed a big one in order to travel and I couldn't have asked for a better backpack. It is solid and reliable even when completely filled up. Last time I used it around 20 kilos and once you get it on your shoulders it is comfortable (as 20 kilos can possibly be), still on your hips and back. It has a lot of external pockets and a specific one in order to put shoes separated from the bigger pocket. My review is definitely positive, I've always find my self in good hands with Osprey. For this backpack I initially had a problem with the size: I am 1.70m and 57kg and the application suggested me to order an M, which was too big for me. I returned the backpack back to Osprey and ordered without any problem the smaller size which I felt better on my hips, so I also had a positive experience with the return service. Fully satisfied!

Very good hiking bag with a lot of handy places to put away stuff that you can easily withdraw again.
We have been hiking in Norway this summer with our new Osprey backpacks, and we really like them!
You can store away all necessary stuff and can still walk stabile.
Two more wishes: the raincoat suits perfectly, but is not big enough when you add a matrass or tent on the side or under your backpack.
and we miss something to put your thumbs in when walking easily.
Maybe we simply didn't know, but we could not find a way tot carry a tent on top of the backpack.
But altogether I highly recommend this wonderfull backpack for people that like traveling or hiking!

    Oh my days.
I outgrew my old pod sac bag and was looking to replace it for another 10 years with something that can handle winter gear and months long treks. This bag has blown my mind. Super versatile, roomy but compresses well. Really carefully thought out features and the whole bag system/fit adjustments are revolutionary. When loaded for 2 weeks worth of food and kit for the back country, it feels stable and actually comfortable....looking forward to seeing how durable it is, but I have high hopes!

Réglages au millimètres et faciles à faire.
Excellent maintien. Même chargé j'ai l'impression que le sac reste léger!
Il ne me manque qu'une pochette pour gsm sur la bretelle.

    My Home From Home!
I've been using this rucksack for about a year and a half now, for long, multi week backpacking trips, the longest being just over three weeks. It's the perfect size - I can carry the stuff I need, including enough food for about a week at a time. I've never at any point found I needed more space.

The pockets on the front are great - they are deceptively large! I also like the bottom access point - makes getting the sleeping bag out so much easier, and means I don't have to unpack the entire bag to so! Similarly to the front pockets, the main pocket on the lid will carry a ridiculous amount of stuff! I also like that it can be removed, to shrink the pack down for shorter trips.

In terms of comfort, I would give it 5 stars! The way the hip band and shoulder straps hug the body just make it a joy to wear, and I the ventilation down the back is brilliant. However. I found myself having trouble with the fit on the fly velcro of the hip band. I need the hip band at its smallest setting, to be able to pull it in tight enough for the weight of the backpack to be kept on my hips not my shoulders. Unfortunately the velcro tended to slip, especially when wet and under strain. This meant I wasn't always able to get the hip band tight enough, resulting in one rather painful hike where I was stuck out in the middle of nowhere, with my rucksack pulling at my shoulders for the entire trip!

BUT! I spoke to Osprey about this, and they were amazing beyond belief! They've since sent out a hip band buckle replacement, which changes where the stress is on the hip band when tightening it, meaning I no longer pull on the velcro. Consequentially, I can now get the hip band tight enough again. Making this rucksack pretty near perfect my needs! And I was so so so so impressed by Osprey's customer service, they were incredibly quick to respond and come up with a solution to my problem!

That's not to say there aren't still a few issues I have with this rucksack. I find there are some surplus bits on it - like the divider you can use to split the main compartment. Why do rucksacks always have this? It just makes use of the space within the main compartment so much less efficient! I ended up cutting it out, because I never used it, and it just got in the way. The bag panel with the straps attached, in order to make it adjustable, can sometimes wiggle out of place a bit. Not a huge issue, I just couldn't work out why it wasn't fitting properly and it turned out one of the sliders had moved out of place. Only took a second to fix though! I also would have appreciated some sort of side access into the rucksack, but maybe now I'm just being picky!

So overall, I'm very happy with this rucksack. It wears very well (it has been rather abused in its short lifetime, yet it is still holding up strong), the build quality is excellent. And when I did have a problem, the customer service was second to none! Which when spending this much on a rucksack, does matter to me! Its comfortable, practical, and I look forward to many more adventures with it! When (or if!) it does finally wear out, I'll definitely be coming back to Osprey!
