Easy to use magnets for extra backpacksEach reservoir comes with one magnet for one backpack. The magnet must be attached to a sufficiently wide (minimum 15 mm) and sturdy strap. As it is not easy to transfer a well-attached magnet to another backpack I ordered these additional magnets for my other backpacks which I use with the same bladder. If the magnet is attached to a strap that is narrower than the slots in the magnet or the strap is not sufficiently thick and sturdy, the magnet will fall off and disappear. If the attachment feels weak, secure the attachment with some stitches. Unfortunately, the magnet has no holes for stitches. The magnet is strong. It pulls a nearby hose magnet onto its correct place. You do not need to position the hose magnet yourself. Just bring the hose magnet in the direction of this magnet and the hose will snap on its carrying place.

For the extra RucksackWith owning 2 Osprey bags I needed the extra magnet as there is only on included with the Hydraulic bag. They are well made and seem very robust. A good snug fit to your chest strap so don't slide around. The only negative is to keep well clear of your compass when being used.
