    Lightness vs durability
I bought this pack for its ultralight weight that is it. I dont expect features, they tend to come with additional grams. I dont need durability in a bag thats spending 95% of its time on my back. The levity offers comfort in its lightness and is durable if used in conjunction with ultralight kit. If you load this with heavy and clumbsy items it will break or tear. I do occasionally add a light drybag inside to boost the protection. The build quality is good, the materials need care but its a specialist bag not a bag for everyday. If you want durability Osprey have some very durable bags so dont buy this one and moan about it. If its a workmanship or a material breakdown problem talk to Osprey they will sort it, if you just wanted an ultralight bag with the durability of the Osprey Mutant then dream on.

Extremely light, makes compromises to be so lighy.
I have had the Levity 60 for a couple of months and a good few trips now.

So far the quality is superb, the bag has been extremely comfortable and easy to adjust on the fly.

I have packed both heavy and light loads in the bag and it has been supportive and comfortable under both loads.

There have been some compromises to make the bag so light, some of the material (the top 1/3 that the hood covers) is very thin and there is not any extra storage pockets than is absolutely necessary. Personally, I take some extra care to make sure nothing sharp punctures the thin material and use a lot of dry sacks, so have no issue with the lack of pockets.

The bag is exactly as designed, hyper light and has a good frame that can take heavy loads comfortably. I would 10/10 recommend this bag and would absolutely buy again should I ever need to.

    Love it
Used for 40 days. Good points...weight saver, no frills attachments suits my needs, easy to use adjustment straps, large, easy access, roomy top pocket, womens fit great, sits on my big bum. Bad points...side pockets very tight so difficult to store even a water bottle, gets grubby quick but cleans up with light wipe, base needs a darker cloth to avoid dirt and mud marking the pack, Once you get your pack down to 9-10kg it is a great pack and my pack of choice for multi day hikes.

Levity 60L after 18 months of use
I bought the Levity 60 and have used it on a number of multiday national trails, Overall its a very comfortable load carrier and pretty much does what it sets out to do.
I was a little sceptical when i bought it that it would be durable enough, but to date no rips, snags or tears on the main fabric after over 4 months of use. Definetely could be some improvements 1. the Sternum straps would benefit from more secure fixing, i have lost a couple (the excellent Osprey customer service have promptly supplied replacements) 2. almost impossible to get the rucsac to stand up on its own, which can be frustrating. 3. the mesh on the hip belt has worn badly, largely due to friction on the material covering the frame. 4. Hip belt tends to loosen itself in use. The compression cord takes a bit of getting use to. With the 60L it is easy to overload and carry more weight than the streamlined shoulder straps are probably designed for ....Less likely to encounter this with the Levity 45. But the benefit of not carrying circa a KG on the base weight of the rucsac outweigh the niggles.

    Brilliant Product
I bought a Levity 60 through your second life site a few years ago, and I am very very happy with it. I am a DofE assessor as well as busy completing my ML. Needless to say I spend allot of time in the mountains. If I am completing a several stage / day hike, this is my go to bag. Ultra light weight, more than enough space, very comfortable. Basically it does what it says on the tin. If I had to knock it, my only criticism is that I cannot store my walking poles on the shoulder strap like you can on my other Osprey bag. I have just seen a 45 on sale and am seriously contemplating getting it.

A good pack but some niggles
This is a great, lightweight and very comfortable pack that seems durable with the right care. However, I found there were some niggles for me and I had t ask many questions at Osprey. The compression straps don't seem that useable I think elasticated straps would have been more useful and I couldn't get them to work in a useful way despite asking Osprey for help. I think they need to do a video if this is to be deemed a useful function at present. Sack falls over onto its front so you need to be mindful of this, and I could not alter the sternum strap - again I had to ask and apparently is moveable however its very tight and I feel like the buckle wont go over the small hoops so have not managed to adjust this as yet. I think if there was a bit more support and information for these basics that would be good. The niggles and lack of knowledge available keep me from giving it a higher rating.
