Customer Service Assistant Manager

A great opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Assistant Manager at Osprey Europe’s brand new Headquarters based in Poole, Dorset.

Osprey Europe was established in the UK in 2003 to handle supply of Osprey products to the European market and to increase its global recognition as an industry leader.

This key role in the Customer Service team will provide the following:

  • Effective management of departmental workload and resources to meet daily & monthly shipping targets and seasonal deadlines
  • Develop and deploy changes to departmental processes alongside Customer Service & Merchandising Manager, with specific focus on improving service to our Key Account customers
  • Managing key account Call Off orders from ordering through to fulfilment
  • Setting daily, weekly & monthly objectives to the customer service team
  • Ensure customer orders are entered accurately and on time, and despatched within expected timescales
  • Ensuring maintenance of accurate weekly reorder/cancellation/call off/Pre-season order figures and assisting Customer Service & Merchandising Manager with monitoring & analysis
  • Liaising with Customers, Sales Agents and Distributors via email, telephone, and face to face
  • Compiling and distributing customer sales reports as and when required
  • Producing reports requested by Customer Service & Merchandising Manager
  • Maintain effective working relationships with company’s external partners and other departments

It is essential candidates have knowledge and experience of:

  • Working in a fast paced and diverse office customer service environment
  • Working with a variety of computer systems
  • Working within a busy and demanding office environment
  • Prioritising workload in a changing and dynamic environment
  • Picking up processes quickly and putting in to practice
  • Team leading experience would be an advantage

You must be pro-active and a forward thinker with a flexible attitude to work. You will have the ability to juggle multiple tasks whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail. With high numeracy skills you will also possess an enquiring mind. Interest and participation in outdoor activities would be an advantage.
