How did you first get into Biking?
When I was younger I spent some time doing some Cross Country Skiing. Our coach loved MTB so in the summer he made us ride to every training session. At the end of the season, after riding for months, there was a local MTB race and the entire ski team decided to enter. This where it started and since then I have never looked back.
If you had to give one piece of advice to someone starting to ride, what would it be?
Enjoy the ride! I believe that’s all that matters. Find a trail that you like to ride and get out exploring. If you enjoy what you’re doing you’ll naturally improve and achieve those goals you aim for.
What is the most challenging or rewarding race you have competed in?
I think the Enduro World Series is the hardest race I’ve done and the one which gives me the biggest reward. You compete in eight different countries, eight different kinds of trail and weather, against the best riders in the world. Winning this series in 2013 was definitely my biggest achievement so far.
The Raptor 10 is my ‘go to’ pack that I use every day. It stays close to your back so you can ride the tightest line and the ventilated foam back panel offers that extra support and flexibility.VIEW THE RAPTOR SERIES
