INTO THE WILD 2019
Osprey is extremely excited to work with Jason on all of his future expeditions and adventures. This work actually begins right now with what could be one of Jason’s toughest challenges yet. A 49-mile hike through Alaskan/Canadian territory followed by a 1,980 mile kayak trip along the Yukon River.
The two man unsupported trip consists of Jason and his expedition partner Sean. It begins in Skagway, Alaska before moving onto the arduous historical gold rush trail; Chilkoot. The pair will hike this trail for 49-miles towards Lake Bennett, Yukon, before setting off along the Yukon River via kayak.
This 2,029 mile long journey will take them through the wildlands of the Yukon for 715 miles, a territory nearly four times the size of England with a population of only 35,000. The Yukon River then crosses the border into Alaska and meanders across the entire breadth of the untamed state for 1,265 miles.
Joining the pair on the expedition will be the Aether Pro, the Xenith 105 and a host of supporting Osprey accessories.
